June 1 world Milk day

 

             1st June: World Milk Day
The first day of the month June 1, 2022, marks two special events falling on the same date i.e ‘World Milk Day’ and ‘Global Parents Day. ‘World Milk Day is observed to recognise the contribution of milk as global food and bring attention to the dairy sector, it was decided by the Food & Agriculture Organization to celebrate 1st June as World Milk Day. First Milk day was observed on June 1 2001. To commemorate the Importance of dairy products in the society in relevance to economic growth and development as the dairy sector helps in the sustainable development of the nation.
